Who would make the team and what would be the batting order? We selected a composer all-star team and some of their best works, and made some pretty nifty composer baseball cards to go with them...

Magic and Music - What's your favorite?

Today, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows casts its spell on audiences across the world. Hoards of nostalgic fans will likely be leaving the multiplexes humming John Williams' "Hedwig's Theme", the iconic musical theme of the series. We began thinking of our favorite moments of music and magic, across all musical mediums.

We love Dukas' Sorcerer's Apprentice, brought to life in the iconic sequence from Fantasia. Check out this recording of the piece conducted by Leonard Slatkin. Listen to samples on our site and get the Lossless version to really experience the epic orchestral sound: check out the recording!
